There is nothing more attractive than a thick head of hair that glimmers with natural health. But hair loss is a problem that many people suffer from.

Most of the people lose 50-100 strands of hair every day. When hair is washed, people can lose up to 250 strands of hair. When you lose more hair from the scalp or from other parts of the body, you will be having hair loss. Alopecia is the medical term for hair loss. The hair grows about half an inch per month. About 90 % of a person’s hair will be in the growth phase at any given time. Another 10 % will be in the dormant stage and after 2-3 months these dormant hairs falls out.

Here are few ways by which you can see the effective remedies for hair growth:

Mix equal amounts of olive oil, almond oil and coconut oil in a bowl. Warm this oil slightly and massage your scalp with it. For the best results, wrap your head in a thin cotton cloth and leave it on overnight. The cotton cloth will help to retain your body heat and so your scalp and hair will be slightly warm. This will increase the amount of oil absorbed by your scalp and hair.

If you cannot leave the oil on overnight, wrap your head in a warm moist towel after oiling your hair and allow it to remain on for an hour before you wsh your hair.

If you have oily hair, wash your hair with warm water to get rid of the excess oil but if you have dry hair make sure that you always use lukewarm or cold water.

Do not use hot water as this will damage your strands and will also end up weakening your hair.

Massage a generous amount of onion juice into your hair once a week and leave it in your hair and scalp for about two to four hours. This will encourage hair growth.
